12/15/2016 Today's run and motivation creeping up

It's funny how, after a few years of running and now almost 3 writing about it, I am so in tune with my motivation level.  I am a bit of a mood swing kind of guy, so my motivation can swing just the same.  After NYC, I needed some time to rest and let my motivation level drop.  It has taken awhile to get it back this year, more than normal.  However, during today's run and over the last 2-3 days, I feel it building.  I ran for an hour today, comfortable pace, no idea the miles.  It was just about running and thinking today.

I think it has to do with getting a couple runs in and what's going on here, at The Daily Fitness Journal.  January will mark three years for me in the blog world.  In the past six months, it has started to really take off.  I am currently breaking the 1K mark to my total reach (barely, but it still counts) and it wasn't long ago when I would go onto the analytics side of the site and hope for like 15 page views.  With the increased success of the site, I have more and more I want to do.  I have an interview coming soon with a well know author in the field, as well as some great product connections to share to you, the reader.

Over the coming weeks, I plan to train more and harder than ever, reaching for a great 2017.  I have some real goals in mind and some are lofty.  More to follow on that when I nail them down.  For now, I leave you with this video.  Enjoy!
