10/10/16 A perfect fall day for a run

Sometimes, everything just works out in your favor.  The weather is sunny, cool, and a little breeze.  There is no traffic to deal with.  Everything feels a little crisper and more healthy after the rain yesterday.  Today was the perfect day for a fall run.  I took full advantage of the conditions and ran a strong 8 miler at a nice 8:01/mile pace.  I include my splits here:

1
08:31
8'31"
2
16:41
8'10"

3
24:38
7'57"

4
32:30
7'52"

5
40:36
8'06"

6
48:31
7'55"

7
56:22
7'51"

8
1:04:11
7'49"

The second column is i the running time, and the third column is the mile time for that mile.  As my fitness builds, it is good to see me being able to tick off the miles at a reasonably steady pace.  This is usually a good indicator that I am building well.  I typically have pacing problems when I am not fit or trying to do too much too soon.  Tomorrow, I am going to hit 15 miles at a little slower pace and try to stay balanced.
