04/15/2016 Tax Day! 7 miles and interesting splits

I got out today for a decent run of 7 miles.  I started my watch and had no plans for pace or time.  I just wanted to run.  To be honest, I wasn't sure how long I was going to go for today.  I knew I was setting out for a run, but I hadn't decided how far.  I guess I was going to arbitrarily stop after 6 miles, but I was feeling good at about 5.75, so I went for 7 total.  When I plugged in my watch and checked out my splits, the results were interesting.  Here they are:

1
9:05--9'05"/MI
2
17:54- 0:16 (2%)8'49"/MI
3
26:40- 0:03 (0%)8'46"/MI
4
35:12- 0:14 (2%)8'32"/MI
5
43:39- 0:05 (0%)8'27"/MI
6
51:50- 0:16 (3%)8'11"/MI
7
MISSING KEY: ACTIVITY_RUNNING_DETAILS_MODULES_RUN_36
59:52- 0:09 (1%)8'02"/MI
As you can see, I start off slow and every mile I got fast, right through mile 7.  As I loosened up and kept moving, I was getting more fluid and did feel pretty good.  I had no speed goals for today, so I am happy with my splits.  Total for the week is 25 miles.  I have eyes next week for between 32-34 miles.
