04/11/2016 5 Miler with a fast finish

Coming off a week of no running, I hope for either pain free running or at least a little less discomfort.  That lasted about 4 steps into my run.  I felt the same old nag in my left butt cheek and my left hamstring that I have been feeling.  As always, I just kept on for a simple jog for the first 4 miles.  I paced at around 8:35-8:55 for those miles.  For the final mile though, I decided to finish fast and see what I could do.  With only a mild increase in discomfort, I was able to kick it up and finish the final mile in 6:46.  My total run was 41:56 and 5 miles.  Here are the splitsl:

I'm not sure what I am going to do with the leg and butt.  I need to resolve this if possible, because I am not sure I could run a 6:00/mile pace at all and that's my goal for a 5 mile race in about 11 weeks.  I am going to step up the icing and Aleve and see if that helps at all.
