Unfortunately, this isn't an April Fool's joke. I had planned, as I wrote yesterday, to do a pyramid run from 200-16, then back down. However, 5 steps into the first 200M, my left hamstring was ablaze and I shut it down. I decided to simply get in a few miles to get me to 30ish for the week and not put the hamstring. On a regular run, there is a little discomfort, but it's nothing I can't handle.
However, there was no way I was running anything in the 6:00/mile pace range today. I need to ice, pop some pills, and figure out what's up.
