The 2 year anniversary of The Daily Fitness Journal

Today marks 2 years of writing on here as The Daily Fitness Journal.  As I remember saying last year, I really started this blog mainly to record my own running and racing as a digital training journal.  

I've discussed my training, my racing, my injuries, my clothes/sneakers, my supportive family, and more on this blog.  It is an outlet much like running itself is.  I use this forum to throw words at you, hopefully you like what you here.  If not, none of you have spoken up so too bad!

Over the 2 years, I like to think I have extended beyond that scope to include information that others may find useful.  In blogging and website creation, there is a tendency to make the content about the author.  I have certainly, and will continue to, have issues with that.  I'm fine with this because of the nature of what I wanted in the first place.  However, I do hope to provide more and more training information, product reviews, and connections to the community around us.  

The Daily Fitness Journal has been a lot of fun and I look forward to continuing for a long time.  As I have said before on this blog, and will continue to say from time to time: 

"There will come a day when I am no longer able to run.  Today is not that day."
