Boston Marathon Day! Get your DVR set for a strong field

Boston Marathon 2014 is here.  This Monday marathon is not short of any history in a normal year, but this year is obviously even more special, important, dynamic, sad, thoughtful, etc.

Beyond the story lines and pain and courage, there is a race being run as well.  This could shape up to be one of the strongest Boston fields, especially on the women's side.

The top 2 U.S. runners involved include, Ryan Hall (finally healthy) on the men's side and Shalane Flanagan on the women's.

The Universal Sports Channel will be broadcasting the pre race program as well as the marathon.  Pre race coverage started this morning at 7am. Here are the starting times by division:

Mobility impaired: 8:50 a.m.
Wheelchair division: 9:17 a.m.
Handcycles: 9:22 a.m.
Elite Women: 9:32 a.m.
Elite Men and Wave One: 10 a.m.
Wave Two: 10:25 a.m.
Wave Three: 11 a.m.
Wave Four: 11:25 a.m.
