02/12/2014 PM Workout

It's a good day.  I just finished up my workout and I am tired.  I did a 30 minute jump rope session, non stop.  I rotated a hop step, jogging step, and jumping pattern to keep it fresh and to use different muscles throughout the time.  I would list my tempo as moderate.  Two different times during the 30 minutes I counted 500 jumps and tracked the amount of time for both sections.  Each time I came up almost exactly 4 minutes.  Consequently, I would say my jump rate was 125 jumps per minute.  

I am trying to do a lot of different workouts and really get my body in prime physical condition so that when I can consistently start running again, it can be a smooth transition.  I am hoping March is a turn around weather wise.  Tonight into Friday morning we are supposed to get 10-14 inches of snow.  I cannot write the things down I want to write about this weather, but it is what it is.  

I am going to head into my running season eventually.  Hopefully, I will be in better shape than usual.
