02/01/2014 Afternoon Workout

This afternoon, Maura and I took the kids ice skating for the first time.  Although there was no real aerobic benefit to 2 hours of ice skating, I did get a good lower body workout in and the skates definitely forced me to use different muscles in my feet.

It was a good time and a simple bit of lower body work so it was win-win.  It was also nice to strap on the skates again.  After a couple trips around the rink, I felt right back in the groove.  The feel, the chill, and weaving in and out of all the people brought me right back to the ice rink in Chenango Bridge.

The only thing that was missing was Don Hardy and Jason Smith!
